Pertemps are currently recruiting for a Mechanical CAD Draughtsperson to join a growing manufacturing company based in Alton. The successful candidate will be responsible for remodelling and redrawing existing product range into a new CAD system.

Responsibilities as a CAD Draughtsperson:

• Remodel existing mechanical components in Autodesk Inventor using parametric modelling techniques
• Interpret and convert existing design data from both Solid Works part files or drawings and Legacy paper drawings
• Produce detailed manufacturing drawings in accordance with company standards
• Create accurate sub‑assemblies and top‑level assemblies from remodelled components
• Produce top‑level drawings for customer documentation and workshop use
• Carry out design verification checks to ensure accuracy, fit, and function of modelled components

Requirements:

• Proficient in 3D CAD modelling using Autodesk Inventor
• Proficient in Solid Works
• High level of proficiency in technical drawings
• Solid understanding of mechanical components and assemblies
• Strong attention to detail

The CAD Draughtsperson role:

• 6  - 9 month contract
• Monday – Friday, office based in Alton
• £30,000 - £35,000 depending on experience
